Chapter History

On August 7, 1965 the Zonta Club of Mobile (ZCM) was chartered. Our club members are a cross-section of business and professional leaders who volunteer their time, inspiration and financial support for the betterment of the community and the world. Since 1965 they have donated tens of thousands of dollars and thousands of service hours to community projects. Some of the organizations receiving support from the Mobile club are: Sybil Smith Family Village, Girl Scouts of Mobile, Penelope House, Our Sister’s Closet, Emma’s Harvest House, Home of Grace, Wilmer Hall and Literacy Coalition of South Alabama.
